Jennifer & Andre had a beautiful destination wedding at The Whitestone Country Inn in Kingston, and we were honored to have been selected to document their special day. The ceremony took place at The Whitestone Chapel and was followed by an amazing reception overlooking the Tennessee River.

This past Tuesday started out a little early as I had to cover over 500 miles to be at the Detroit Institute of Art in Detroit before two o’clock. This wasn’t just any trip. A few days earlier I received an invite to ”Get Candid Detroit” from Denis Reggie (the father of photojournalists style wedding coverage) to attend a workshop with five of the best wedding photographers in the world. These guys don’t get together that often in one room and to be one of the few lucky one’s in the United States to witness this gathering… I’m without words.

Last weekend we went down to Mason’s Harmonyway Dairy Farm in Niota to photograph Shelby & Jake’s engagement session. Talk about small world. I use to run/bike by this farm while training for marathons when I was younger. Shelby & Jake were incredible throughout the session and Shelby’s parents had me missing the area (McMinn County) which I once called home.

Brooke & Weston tied the knot at the historical Boyd’s house located at the Weymouth in Southern Pines. These two are an amazing couple and have been great to work with over the past year. Brooke looked stunning and her beautiful smile brought a magnificent smile to Weston’s face as she appeared from the house.
Seeing this 1931 Model A approaching The Pinehurst Resort with Brooke & Weston was amazing.
It’s been a great year and many thanks for letting us document this special day in your life’s.

We met up with Corey & Jason at the Market Square District in downtown Knoxville for their engagement session. We started out at Krutch Park for the first half of their session and then finished up with some amazing architectural images.
