June 2010

Jennifer & Andre had a beautiful destination wedding at The Whitestone Country Inn in Kingston, Tennessee and we were honored to have been selected to document their special day.  The ceremony took place at The Whitestone Chapel and was followed by an amazing reception overlooking the Tennessee River.

About Whitestone Country Inn:

Whitestone Country Inn sits on an amazing 360 acres overlooking Watts Bar Lake just south of Knoxville in Kingston, TN that includes a beautiful Bed & Breakfast Inn, a Wedding Chapel, relaxing spa and all the outdoors activities that you would expect in a peaceful setting. Whitestone staff uphold the highest standards for their guest and it is always a pleasure to photograph on the grounds.

This past Tuesday started out a little early.   As I had to cover over 500 miles to be at the Detroit Institute of Art in Detroit before two o’clock.  This wasn’t just any trip.  A few days earlier I received an invite to “Get Candid Detroit” from Denis Reggie (the father of photojournalists style wedding coverage) to attend a workshop with five of the best wedding photographers in the world.  These guys don’t get together that often in one room and to be one of the few lucky one’s in the United States to witness this gathering… I’m without words.

Last weekend we had the opportunity to photograph Lauren & Ryan’s beautiful wedding at the First Baptist Church Of Mebane, North Carolina.  Following the ceremony their festive wedding celebration kicked off at the Pine Lake Pavilion over looking a beautiful pond.
