2010 AG|WPJA Q3: Wiselyn Photography Places 18th Internationally

AG|WPJA Q3 International Competition

Bryant Newman, the principal photographer for Wiselyn Photography was honored with an 18th place [Sense of Place/Architecture] during the AG|WPJA Q3 International Competition. This is Bryant’s third international award in less than two years. The chapel image above was captured earlier this year at The Church of the Holy Communion in Charleston, South Carolina. A membership into the Artistic Guild of the Wedding Photojournalist Association is only granted to the best photojournalist style wedding photographers that meet the high standards of the association.

Allison + Cody’s Wedding | Mount Moriah Missionary Baptist Church & Charles Towne landing – Founders Hall

We recently had the honor of photographing Allison & Cody’s intimate wedding at the Mount Moriah Missionary Baptist Church in North Charleston, South Carolina. One of the most amazing events I’ve ever witnessed during a ceremony was when Allison’s father performed a powerful solo that brought the family & guests to their knees. The reception took place at the historical Charles Towne Landing – Founders Hall.

Extended Gallery | Bryant & Cynthia found themselves back in Charleston for the 2nd time this year in April to document the amazing wedding of Catherine & Chris at The Church of the Holy Communion. This signature wedding would later produce Bryant’s third international award in less than two years.

Lifestyle Photography | Tina & Greg On The Waterfront – Charleston, SC

We met this fun loving couple (Tina & Greg) at Catherine & Chris’s Wedding this past Saturday. Always up for a evening photography session in downtown Charleston… we asked Tina & Greg if they would like to join us on the waterfront. Tina & Greg were a blast!!!

Catherine & Chris’s Wedding | Church of the Holy Communion

We were so excited when Catherine called to inform us that she wanted us to photograph her wedding. Catherine & Chris’s wedding took place at The Church of the Holy Communion in Charleston, South Carolina. The ceremony was truly breath taking to witness as the church performed the ceremony with a Nuptial Mass. A joyous celebration took place shortly thereafter at the historical Old Exchange Building in downtown Charleston with family and friends.
