As we went live with our journal not long ago… we felt it would be important to reflect back on past events and to celebrate moments we have captured by sharing those events time to time.    – Reflecting –

Charleston, South Caroline has always been a special place for the two of us throughout the years.  This grand old lady with her southern charm… you can feel and even hear the history as you walk over her cobbled stone streets throughout the city.  We exchanged our vows here almost seven years ago at the Water Front Park in front of the Friendship Fountain, also known as the “Pineapple Fountain”.  Several things that never change for us and are always on our “to-do” list when we visit… having dinner at the Southend Brewery & Smokehouse (Rated #1 Microbrewery in the South), Belgian Truffles for dessert from the Lucas Belgian Chocolate store on 73 State Street, and our evening walk on the waterfront.

We took Miss Lauren (June 2010 bride) to Charleston, South Carolina for her Signature Bridal Session on Saturday. We met up with Lauren and her Mom on E. Bay Street in front of East Bay Crab Shack in downtown Charleston on Friday to go over the details and what they expected from the session.  After reviewing several locations throughout the city… we called it an evening.     Nice an early Saturday morning we met up with hair stylist April at Salon Bliss on James Island (just south of Charleston). To accept our week of appointment at 8am and then deliver a stunning master piece… many thanks April. You now have all my referrals for the Charleston area!!!  We split at this time… Lauren off to get dressed and us to set up for the multi-session day just off E. Bay Street in Charleston.     Seeing Lauren for the first time in her dress just completely took my breath away.  The last time that I had that happen to me in this location was just over seven years ago… it was the day I married my wife in front of the pineapple fountain.  The two (2) session day went great… as we had a nice breeze with a semi-cloudy day.  Unlike our day when we all ended up wet.  There’s only one thing bad about this perfect bridal session…  I have to sit on the dress/veil details and these beautiful images for a whole year before I can publish them in this journal.     Many thanks Lauren & Mom for letting us be apart of this special day in Charleston, SC and hiring us for your June 2010 wedding!!!  I can wait!!!
